annual breakfast at adams ranch

To be put on waiting list, email

Our annual fundraiser of breakfast and a tour of the historic Adams Ranch is one of the most popular events of the year, but spaces are limited. We lost Alto "Bud" Adams Sept. 22 at age 91, the tradition of conservation and community service continues at the ranch.

The event is 8 a.m. to noon, but we will meet at 7 a.m. at the Fort Pierce Home Depot parking lot to check in and sign the waiver for the tour.

Directions will be given then and all will leave via caravan around 7:15 a.m. to drive to the ranch on SR 68, Orange Ave. Extension. Learn more about the Adams Ranch.

Half of the group (35) will begin the tour, while the other half will begin with breakfast, which will include freshly made eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, sweets, coffee and juice.

This “Taste of Old Florida” provides an opportunity to learn about “Old Florida” cattle ranching and to see indigenous wild life including a large variety of birds, deer, hogs, turkeys and gators that co-habit the ranch. The 15th largest cattle ranch in the country is a shining example of holistic management, which balances nature without resorting to the use of chemicals and pesticides. Please join us for this great outing and meet some members of the Adams family.

Pay with PayPal, credit or debit card. If you have any questions, contact Kathy Broadbent, (612) 619-3915.
